TWO fire crews were called out to a property in Chester after reports of smoke.
Firefighters attended the scene in Chester Road at about 5.45pm yesterday (Wednesday, October 12)
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival they found a candle had apparently been left on top of a log burner and melted, causing smoke in the property.
"The loft was inspected paramedics attended. The smoke alarms activated in the property."
