GUESTS were treated to a menu curated by celebrity chefs Ken Hom and Nigel Howarth last week at a charitable event at PARADE, Chester Racecourse.
An Asian inspired menu was carefully created by the culinary veterans who also oversaw the kitchen on the evening, delivering top quality dishes for 70 guests at the luxurious venue. PARADE was chosen by The Blenheim Club, a new charitable organisation, for the launch of their new venture with ambitious plans to enrich 80 million lives whilst combining luxury lifestyle experiences, community and philanthropy.
Opportunities for guests to meet the chefs and discuss the evening’s dishes provided an intimate and unique experience that PARADE has become known for. The Blenheim Club have already confirmed their return to PARADE for their next philanthropic dinner early next year.
Tom Wilkins, who is the inspiration behind The Blenheim Club, said: "We received unbelievable support from the PARADE team before, during and after the event. The collective enthusiasm and attention to detail makes the venue totally world class at every step.
"The bigger picture is that the PARADE team have helped start something that has the ambitions to positively change the lives of many people around the world. The feedback on the event has been sensational and it has been a joy to work with the team."
The restaurant is quickly becoming known as one of the best trackside venues in the sport and has been shortlisted for the upcoming Racecourse Association Awards in the food and beverage category.
The next talented chef in the PARADE kitchen is Harry Guy for a pop-up kitchen event. On Friday, December 2, the coveted Roux scholarship award-winning chef will return after a successful first event back in August, leading up to the much-anticipated Chester restaurant, X by Harry Guy.
Rupert Worden, Head of Catering for Chester Racecourse, comments: "Guests can expect a dining experience like no other starting with Champagne and snacks followed by a series of dishes to entice the senses, perfectly paired with an exceptional drinks flight as Chef Harry Guy takes diners on a gastronomic journey course by course."
Tickets are available from £195pp which includes a totally unique six course tasting menu and snacks, complete with champagne on arrival or £250 to also include a drinks flight. Tickets are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis.
