This year, Parkgate Fish & Chips, located on The Parade, has won an award in the Fish & Chips category.
Kyle Ho, 24, is the son of the family who own Parkgate Fish & Chips.
He said: "We are so proud to have won this award. Years of hard work has paid off as we have been meaning to enter a competition to showcase our lovely fresh fish and chips.
"We did not realise we were even in the competition so it is a real honour that our customers have chosen us."
Thanking their customers, the company posted this on their Facebook earlier this week.
Parkgate Fish & Chips is also served at the Lilypad Café, on the Chester High Road, which was opened in April.
