CHESHIRE Oaks will be teaming up with Manchester-based collective Feel Good Club to ward off the January blues and help spread positivity via an installation at the centre.

Guests visiting the Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet between Blue Monday (January 16), clinically-proven to be the most depressing day of the year and Sunday, January 22, will be able to participate in an interactive and anxiety-reducing ‘Leave it Here’ installation.

All visitors to the centre are invited to anonymously share their worries via post-it notes and ‘leave them behind’ on one of the outlet’s walls. By writing out what has been weighing them down recently, the activation seeks to help visitors deal with some of the feelings of anxiety and isolation associated with keeping to oneself when going through a hard time.

The notes wall is part of a wider Feel Good Club pop-up space. Visitors to Cheshire Oaks will be able to browse a wide range of mood-boosting products, from positivity-inspired merch to delicious treats such as CBD-infused drinks by Trip, cronuts and pup-cups for those bringing along their furry companions.

Feel Good Club was started by wives Kiera and Aimie Lawlor-Skillen in 2019, with the aim to help others feel good about themselves, even when dealing with the lower moments in life. Their Instagram channel, which they use to share daily reminders to help boost positivity, now has over 300,000 followers worldwide, who all turn to the duo for inspiration on navigating both the good and bad days.

The pop-up and installation are the first in a series of activities scheduled at the centre in partnership with Feel Good Club throughout 2023.
