A MAN has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision on a sliproad on the A55 in Chester.
Police are appealing for information and dashcam footage following the incident, which happened at 4.08pm on Monday, January 16.
Police, fire and ambulance teams were called to the A55 North Wales Expressway southbound sliproad at junction 39, near the Sainsbury's Roundabout and by Boughton Heath Park and Ride.
The emergency response was following reports that a white Porsche had collided with a bridge.
The driver of the car, a 50-year-old man, was taken to Aintree Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Police are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have captured dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.

As of Tuesday morning, the sliproad remained closed as crews looked to make the sliproad safe again. Surrounding traffic has been heavy on Christleton Road and the A41 Whitchurch Road.
