A MAN caught on a Chester speed camera doing 35mph in a 30mph zone has been ordered to pay more than £400.
Jordan Kelvin Kearns, 24, of Treborth Road, was found by Chester Magistrates Court to have driven a Vauxhall car on the A41 Long Lane, Upton at 6.03pm on September 30, 2022 while speeding.
A speed camera caught Kearns travelling at 35mph at the junction with Heath Road, where there is a 30mph limit.
At Chester Magistrates Court on Wednesday, March 15, Kearns was fined £219, ordered to pay court costs of £110 and an £88 victim surcharge.
His driving licence was endorsed with three points.
A separate charge of Kearns failing to give information to the identity of the driver of a vehicle was withdrawn by the prosecution.
