A CHESHIRE village beauty business is celebrating after being named for two top national awards.

Iconic, which opened Iconic Tarporley in October 2021 and Iconic Barbers in Tattenhall this month, has been recognised with two accolade nods in the UK Hair and Beauty Awards.

Iconic has made the shortlist for the 'best new salon' category and owner Melanie Hill is in the running to win the HBA Entrepreneur of the Year honour.

Melanie explained her role at the business: "I have just under 30 years experience covering all aspects of hairdressing and barbering.

"I specialise in hair extensions, non surgical hair replacement systems for men. I’m also qualified to level 4 in media makeup advanced theatrical makeup and photography."

This year's UK Hair and Beauty Awards final will be held over two days in Birmingham on April 21-22.

The awards which Iconic are in the running to win will be announced on April 22, during a glitzy event hosted by singer Jake Quickenden.
