A MULTI-AWARD winning hotel on the outskirts of Chester has unveiled a major £750,000 upgrade.
Carden Park Hotel put its investment into a new, stylish Morgan’s Bar and walnut crafted reception area.
Completed at the end of March 2023, the newly refurbished areas have both been designed in keeping with the other modern areas of the hotel, including the multi award-winning Spa at Carden which opened in 2020, as well as The Vines fine dining restaurant and Goldie’s Lounge which both opened in 2021.
The reinvented reception has been transformed into a lighter and brighter welcoming space. Featuring a sleek, oversized reception desk with bronze columns, the new reception area enjoys a flood of natural light and has been designed to improve flow of guests in an out of the hotel.
The area is complete with bespoke chandeliers, exclusively created by Porta Romana, and a British-made personalised Wilton’s carpet.
Curving around the back of the reception, the newly redesigned Morgan’s Bar continues to reflect a cosy, club-like atmosphere with dark, rich finishes and wood panelling throughout. The new key focal point of the space is the feature fireplace, with signature walnut panelling. Bespoke light fitting has been positioned in the centre to reflect natural light on to the beautifully hand painted ceiling finish.
On the announcement of the new development, director and general manager Hamish Ferguson said: “We are delighted to unveil our new hotel developments, showing our continual commitment to becoming a world class destination.
"From our award-winning and globally renowned spa facilities to our elegant fine dining, we will always strive to enhance our customers’ journey with us and are serious about meeting their expectations.
"The reception area and Morgan’s Bar are clear examples of the luxurious, welcoming, and open space we have created for them.”
