THE CEO of Chester Race Company will be the first guest speaker at a popular business and networking lunch in the city.
Louise Stewart, whose racecourses include Chester, Bangor-on-Dee in North Wales and Musselburgh in Scotland, will be talking to law firm Cullimore Dutton's guests at their Chester Luncheon Club about her first 12 months in the role, what she loves about the job and her plans for the business.
The event will be held at Chester Racecourse’s 1539 restaurant on April 18.
Louise was CEO of Alexandra Palace for seven years before joining Chester Race Company. Established in 1539, the racecourse is the oldest racecourse still in operation in the world.
As well as giving an insight into the course and the business, Louise’s talk will include her plans to build on the success of the year-round events operation.
Andrew Wright, Managing Director of Cullimore Dutton, which is headquartered in Newgate Street, Chester, said: "Chester Luncheon Club is an informal business and networking club for Cheshire professionals and we’re looking forward to welcoming Louise as our first guest speaker.
"She is a highly experienced and high achieving business leader, and it will be interesting for our guests to hear her vision for the racecourse ahead of the new racing season."
