A PUB in Ellesmere Port is set to re-open after an "extensive refurbishment".
The Straw Hat Pub, on Hope Farm Road, will re-open to customers on Friday, May 5, after its complete renovation following a £225,000 investment.
Updates have been made across the bar area inside and outside, and in the function room, which has now been upgraded to a sports room, with pool and darts avaliable to play.
There will also be weekly activities, such as bingo, karaoke and a pool and darts league.
Shelley Matier, general manager, said: "The Straw Hat has undergone an impressive overhaul, and we can’t wait to welcome customers back to the neighbourhood local.
"We have a whole range of events surrounding the launch and are really looking forward to locals seeing the brand-new look and feel of the pub."
The pub will be hosting a launch weekend with activities across May 6, 7 and 8.
Activities will involve a singing duo on Friday, a DJ and Karaoke on Saturday and Sunday there will be Rock ‘n’ Roll Bingo.
The pub is part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, who were named the Best Community Operator at the 2022 Publican Awards.
