VEHICLES hurtling down a track, the thrills and spills of racing, cheering crowds.
No, we're not talking about the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. You'll find all of this and more in Northwich this weekend.
Yes, on Sunday, July 16, the popular Krazy Races soapbox derby returns to the town after its hugely successful debut in 2022.
More than 15,000 people descended on the town to witness the exciting racing last year and even more are expected to come down in 2023.
Danny Scoffin, head of marketing for Krazy Races, said: "We're delighted to be returning to Northwich.
"It was an amazing event last year and surpassed our expectations.
"We're so grateful to Northwich Town Council, track sponsors Zzoomm, A-Plan, Lightcliffe Skoda and all of the town for really believing in the event last year, coming out to support it and asking us to come back."
What's happening on the day
The free event begins at 10.45am with an opening procession before racing starts at 11am and runs until around 5pm.
Spectators are advised to get into town early to get the best viewing spots along the route.
Viewing will be from the path along Verdin Park and all along the Castle Street road.
Following on from feedback last year, the Krazy Races team will be setting up a big screen showing all the action.

When and where will the roads be closed?
Castle Street and some surrounding roads in Northwich will be closed from 4am until around 10pm to ensure the safe delivery of the event and its spectators.
Chester Way will be closed from London Road, with access to businesses and residents between that junction and Hayhurst swing bridge only via Queen Street.
The A533 from Marine Approach to the Town swing bridge will be access only for residents and businesses.
Marine Approach and Town Bridge Court will be access only via Winnington Hill.
Residents in Freshwater View will be provided alternative parking within walking distance as there will be no access for vehicles.
Access to Marbury Court and nearby businesses will be via Queen Street.
Where can I park?
Parking is available in Verdin Park on a first come first serve basis.
