FOUR men have been arrested following a burglary at a store in Chester city centre.
Officers responded to reports of a burglary at Mollie's Traditional Sweet Shop on Northgate Street shortly before 3am on Friday, July 21.
Attending the scene, they found four men had forcibly gained access to the premises and had stolen a number of food items.
A search of the surrounding area was conducted, with officers locating and arresting all four men within 17 minutes of the initial report.
The men, aged 36, 32, 30 and 29, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary other than a dwelling. They remain in custody at this time.
Inspector James Wilson, of Chester Local Policing Unit said: "I understand the concern that incidents of this nature can cause, and I hope that the swift arrest of the four suspects in this case will provide some reassurance to the local residents and the business community."
