A CHESTER-BASED law firm have celebrated a huge milestone in the company's history - with a night at the races.
More than 120 Aaron & Partners staff attended the firm's 40th anniversary celebration, with the law firm also sponsoring a race at the event.
The firm was founded in Chester in 1983 and has operated in the city ever since, adding offices in Shrewsbury, Greater Manchester and the Wirral in more recent times and working for private clients and businesses both locally and across England and Wales.
Nick Clarke, Senior Partner at Aaron & Partners, said: "We're very proud to be based in Chester, so the opportunity to celebrate our birthday at the same time as supporting one of Chester's most significant institutions really appealed to us.
"We wanted to hold an event to thank our people because it's their hard work and commitment to our clients that the firm is built on.
"In our 40 years, we've grown from being one person, Julian Aaron, our founder, to over 160 people with four offices. We remain ambitious for the firm, our people and our clients and we're looking forward to celebrating many more anniversaries in the city."
Staff from various departments from across the firm made the official trophy presentation at the end of the race to the horse's trainer, Jack Channon, and winning jockey, Thore Hammer Hansen.
Georgia Westbury, part of the Reception Team who took part in presenting the prize to the winning team in the race sponsored by Aaron & Partners, said: "I really enjoyed the chance to make the presentation and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity."
