A CHESTER man charged with escaping lawful custody and remaining unlawfully at large after recall to prison has been remanded in custody pending an appearance at Chester Crown Court.
Luke Huston (aka Luke Fenner), 34, of Adlington Place, has also been charged with section 18 wounding, assault causing actual bodily harm, and criminal damage by breaking a woman's mobile phone.
Huston appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Wednesday, September 6, where he confirmed his name, age and address.
All charges were committed to Chester Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on October 4.
Police had arrested Huston and a second man after attending an address in Carter Street, Chester.
The second man, aged 32, has been released on conditional bail until November 20.
