Partners and staff at Storrar Cowdry enjoyed a special day out at Chester Races, with the firm having sponsored the Nursery Handicap Stakes.
Storrar Cowdry, which has solicitors operating out of Chester and London, was started 40 years ago by Chris Storrar, as a sole practitioner, who was shortly joined by his wife, Darlene and David Cowdry.
The day out was a thank you to their valued staff .
Darlene Storrar said: “We wanted to do something special for all the staff and their partners and the day was greatly enjoyed. We have had a wonderful day and a great number of winners!”
Bazball won the race owned by the jubilant racing enthusiasts Mick Bradley and Mr E Burke. The winning jockey was David Egan.
Freddie Storrar presented the Storrar Cowdry Nursery Handicap Stakes Cup, to both the owners and jockey.
Freddie said: “We have all had an incredible afternoon with great racing and good weather. Chester Racecourse is a beautiful historic course and we at Storrar Cowdry are proud to be able to sponsor this autumn race”.
Kate Dawson, commercial director at Chester Race Company, said: “We were thrilled to welcome and host Storrar Cowdry, one of the North West’s most prestigious legal practices, as a race sponsor for our Autumn Festival Saturday meeting.
