POLICE investigating a burglary in Chester have charged a second man in relation to the incident.
Michael Peers was arrested on Monday, October 9, in connection with a burglary at an address on Tarvin Road, Littleton, on Friday, August 4. Peers was charged the following day with burglary of a dwelling.
The 42-year-old, of Gorton Road, Stockport, was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Wednesday, October 11.
He was further remanded to appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday, November 8.
The charge relates to a burglary in which jewellery and cash to the approximate value of £10,000 was stolen.
- Dane Gregory, 40, of Lapwing Lane, Brinnington, Stockport, last month pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling in Tarvin Road, Littleton. He was jailed for 45 months and handed an indefinite restraining order prohibiting him from entering Chester, Littleton or Christleton.
