MARKS & Spencer has revealed the opening date of its new Wrexham Foodhall and offered a sneak-peek inside.
In February, M&S revealed that it was closing the store at Eagles Meadow in a relocation plan in Wrexham.
The retail giant said it would instead open a new M&S Foodhall on Plas Coch Retail Park, with most staff moving across.
And M&S has now confirmed that the new 15,000 sq ft Foodhall will open its doors on December 1.
Launching just in time for Christmas, the new store will have the retailer’s much-anticipated range of Christmas food. It will also have an in-store bakery.
The new look, M&S Wrexham Foodhall follows the retailer’s recent announcement that it plans to invest c.£500 million in its store rotation programme, creating over 3,400 new jobs nationwide.
Store manager, Mike Bolland, said: “It’s brilliant to confirm our opening day and share a sneak peek of our new Foodhall design as we look forward to our new Wrexham store opening in six weeks’ time.
"Our store will be packed with many exciting new features which we can’t wait to reveal and we’re counting down the days to finally open the doors so our customers can experience it for themselves.”
The new Foodhall is located inside Plas Coch Retail Park at Plas Coch Road, Wrexham LL11 2BW. Opening times are 8am-8pm Monday to Saturday, 9am – 6pm Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday.
