THE Lord Mayor’s Fireworks Extravaganza returns to Chester Racecourse next month and five local charities are set to benefit from the not-for-profit event.

Guests purchasing tickets to attend this year’s spectacular show, on Saturday, November 4, delivered by the racecourse in partnership with the Lord Mayor and Cheshire West and Cheshire Council, will be helping a number of charities.

They are SHARE, The Chester Lions and the Lord Mayor’s chosen charities, Blacon Beacon (Pantry for Blacon), Soul Kitchen and Crossroads Community Hub.

The night itself is set to feature two amazing fireworks displays, curated to magical and iconic movie themes, plus roaming LED light performers, a live DJ and a fun fair.

Early bird tickets for the in-demand event have already been snapped up, however general admission tickets remain available to purchase for £12, while children aged four and under attend the pre-paid, ticket only event for free. Fun fair rides are priced separately.

A VIP ticket is also available to purchase for those wishing to watch the fireworks display from a private viewing area with private facilities. This package includes unlimited access to rides at the fun fair between 5pm and 7pm.
