CHESTER Trampoline Club got a welcome Christmas present, even if it wasn't a huge surprise to its members!
A total of 13 young members took their first steps on the coaching ladder when they passed the initial British Gymnastics coaching award at Brio Leisure's Northgate Arena.
The Club members, all aged 13-16, will now be helping at sessions at Northgate Arena and also at Ellesmere Port Sports Village.
Head Coach Colin Hall said: "This is the third year in a row that club members have smashed this coaching course just before Christmas.
"Coaching is a great way for the youngsters to develop their passion for trampolining and learn new skills in coaching others, and many of them find it useful for university and job applications. Some of them also do this as part of their Duke of Edinburgh's Award, which is fabulous."
