A MOTORIST has been handed a hefty fine by the courts after being caught speeding twice in three days.
New Enoch committed the offences on the same motorway within days of each other – reaching extremely dangerous speeds of around 100mph.
The cases of the 36-year-old was heard recently at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court, where he faced two charges of speeding.
The court heard how Enoch, of Academy Street in Warrington town centre, committed the first offence on May 19.
He was behind the wheel of a Mercedes CLA 200 on the M62 westbound between junctions 11 for Birchwood and 10 for the M6 at Croft Interchange.
The speed limit for this section was 70mph – which he exceeded by driving at 98mph and was caught by an automatic camera device.
Three days later on May 21, he again drove on the same motorway, this time heading eastbound between junctions 11 for Birchwood and 12 for the M60 at Eccles Interchange.
In the same Mercedes, he was again snapped by a camera breaking the 70mph limit – this time at 101mph
His guilt was found proved on both charged by single justice procedure and Enoch was ordered to pay a total of £1,720.
This is broken down into fines of £1,100, court costs of £180 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £440.
In addition, his driving record has been endorsed with 11 points.
