A POPULAR music festival which draws tens of thousands of people to the area has applied to renew its alcohol licence.
Creamfields, which is staged annually off Chester Road in Daresbury, has submitted to Halton Borough Council a notice of application for a premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003.
The address of applicant Cream Global Limited is given as Daresbury Estate, Chester Road, Daresbury.
The application is for the provision of licensable activities at Creamfields Festival for a capacity of 83,500 people, including ticket holders, staff, contractors, performers, VIPs and guests.
The application states: “A responsible authority or any other person may make representations in writing to the relevant licensing authority by February 9, 2024.
“It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make false statement in connection with an application, and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is level five on the standard scale.”
