AN Ellesmere Port man has admitted causing serious injury by dangerous driving while riding a scooter.
Kieran Boyle, 20, of Pooltown Road, appeared at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday, January 16 for a plea and trial preparation hearing, charged with the offence which happened on Sunday, October 17, 2021.
The charge was that Boyle caused serious injury to his male victim by riding a white scooter dangerously on Cromwell Road.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to the scene at about 4.45pm that day.
Boyle was handed unconditional bail and is to be sentenced at Chester Crown Court on January 30, when a pre-sentence report will have been prepared.
