AN ELLESMERE Port GP surgery has organised a sponsored walk to help raise money towards improving mental health services for children.
Whitby Health Partnership (WHP) is excited to announce a sponsored walk that is more highly anticipated than the next season of 24 hours in A&E!
A spokesperson for the partnership said: “We’re raising funds for Port Support, a local children's counselling charity that’s committed to developing and uplifting our youth.
“The event will take place on Sunday, March 17, starting at 9am from our premises at 114 Chester Road, Whitby, CH65 6TG. It’s earlier than your weekend lie-in, but we promise it’ll be worth it!
“Port Support is tackling the real crisis in Ellesmere Port - the provision of mental health services for children. They need £10,000 to continue their amazing work, and they’ve already raised £7,000.
“Our staff at WHP will be walking and maybe even moonwalking to help raise the remaining funds. Look out for our staff wearing green - not because we’re fans of broccoli, but to support mental health awareness!”
The partnership is asking everyone to share its GoFundMe link with friends, family, and even your wider circle. Donations can be made at the surgery or by visiting the GoFundMe page.
