CHESHIRE Oaks have announced their charity partner for 2024 will be the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
The McArthurGlen Designer Outlet will collaborate with the charity on various fundraising events throughout the next twelve months, which includes the upcoming Foamtastic Colourblast set to take place at Chester Racecourse in April.
Lost property from the outlet will also be donated to the charity's shops and sponsorship events will be organised. Cheshire Oaks will also have collection tins placed throughout the site to raise funds and awareness for volunteer roles.
The Hospice of The Good Shepherd, located in Cheshire West, Chester, Ellesmere Port, and Deeside, is a specialist palliative and end-of-life care provider.
During the past year the Hospice has provided almost 300 in-patient stays and had over 1,000 Day Therapy attendances. There were also over 800 medical consultations in Hospice Out-Patients. The Hospice offers social, psychological and spiritual support from our social workers and spiritual care team. Together with the support offered by their bereavement team, almost 1,000 families benefited from these services.
Kenny Murray, General Manager at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Cheshire Oaks, said: "We are delighted to collaborate with The Hospice of The Good Shepherd and raise vital funds to support their work. Their dedication to providing quality care and support to patients and their families aligns perfectly with our own commitment to making a positive impact in our community."
