Roadworks
MOTORISTS are being warned to avoid travelling on a major road leading in and out of Chester city centre due to emergency roadworks.
Cheshire West and Chester Council says delays are "likely" on Liverpool Road as a one-lane closure is in place.
This is due to emergency repairs being carried out by Cadent Gas between the junction with Eversley Park and The Heywoods (Total Fitness) roundabout, near The Queen's Lower School.
Multi-way signals are in operation and the roadworks could last until February 20. No footways are closed.
