EMERGENCY services were called to a one-car collision at a roundabout just off Junction 7 of the M53 this evening.
Police, paramedics and the fire service all attended the incident which happened just after 6.30pm.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said two fire engines from Ellesmere Port and Powey Lane attended.
They said: "Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision involving one car on a roundabout, just off junction 7 of the M53.
"One person is trapped so crews worked to get the casualty out of the vehicle."
Shortly after 7pm the person was released from the vehicle.
The fire service spokesperson added: "Crews released the casualty to the care of paramedics and made the vehicle safe."
