IF you’d love to see Oasis, ABBA, Elton John and Chic all on the same bill, then a new festival in Chester could be the one for you.
A bank holiday weekend of incredible live performances are on the way as the Chester Tribute Festival comes to Carriage Shed for the first time on Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26.
Presented by Open Air, the event will feature an impressive line-up of tribute acts, celebrating the best of indie music on Saturday and paying homage to 70s legends on Sunday.
Saturday’s All About Indie promises to transport audiences back to the indie music scene of the 90s, with an unforgettable array of tribute acts, including: The Oasis Experience, Resurrection, Kasabian’t, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Carpets and the Appy Mundaze.
On Sunday, the festival shift gears to celebrate the iconic sounds of the 70’s with 70’s Legends. Audiences will be treated to unforgettable performances paying tribute to some of the greatest musical acts of the era, proving a night of musical magic and retro tunes from Platinum Queen, ABBA Revival, Only Elton and Chic Out.
Early bird tickets for Chester Tribute Festival are on sale from today (Friday, March 8), priced at £15.
