A CHESTER woman has been awarded the accolade of marketer of the year at prestigious awards.

Jane Entwistle was recognised at the Downtown in Business Women in Business Awards which took place on Friday, March 8, International Women’s Day.

She is the co-director and co-founder of Chester based marketing agency, Entyce Creative.

The annual Women in Business event celebrates the successes of women across the North West and this year saw criteria widen to welcome nominees from Cheshire for the first time.

The winners were decided by public vote and announced during the official awards ceremony which was hosted by journalist and television presenter, Lucy Meacock, at the Crowne Plaza in Liverpool.

Jane said this of her win: "I was not expecting this! Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me.

"I am so proud and honoured to be named Marketer of the Year, but I cannot take all the credit for this award alone. The title also goes to the amazing team behind me at Entyce – the trophy belongs to us all!”

In addition to Jane winning the accolade of Marketer of the Year, Entyce was also shortlisted in the female-led business of the year category.
