A CHESTER law firm are celebrating after securing a prestigious industry award.
Oliver & Co Solicitors, a 100 percent employee-owned firm, have taken home the Conveyancing Firm of the Year – North award.
Hosted by comedian and Chaser Paul Sinha, the fourth annual British Conveyancing Awards took place in London on March 12, showcasing talent, excellence, and innovation in the industry, and celebrating those organisations who stand out from the rest.
The awards are increasingly recognised as a badge of honour for firms practicing property law, who must demonstrate adherence to stringent criteria, including assessment of technical excellence and customer service reviews. Each submission is scrutinised by a panel of expert judges who independently score the entry.
Annie Somerville, Marketing Manager at Oliver & Co, who co-authored the award submission for the firm, along with conveyancing team members Laura Corrigan and Brittany Evans, said:
“In the last 18 months, Oliver & Co have become 100% employee owned which has meant there have been significant changes in the way the company is run, and the firm’s employees are even more invested in providing an excellent service to our clients. Being winners of this award is a huge achievement and one of which we are all immensely proud.”
Oliver & Co was pitted against some of the top law firms in the country in the category. The judges, on announcing the winner stated that Oliver & Co really “walked the walk” when it came to embracing new ways of working, in supporting both their clients and their staff, showing exceptional business performance and exceptional client outcomes.
Commenting on the triumph, Elan Rimmer, Head of Conveyancing at Oliver & Co said: “It has been an exceptional and inspirational evening, celebrating the leading talent in conveyancing in the country. I am immensely proud to represent the Oliver & Co team and for our firm to have won the category of Conveyancing Firm of the Year – North, recognising us as a leading provider of conveyancing services in the region. This award reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team and is richly deserved!”
This achievement comes just months after Oliver & Co won ‘Best Place to Work’ at the British Wills & Probate Awards in October 2023.
There was more success to be had during the British Conveyancing Awards as Oliver & Co Solicitors also took home two Highly Commended achievements in the categories of Best Place to Work and Customer Service Champions.
