TENPIN is set to open in Chester on Friday, March 29, and the Standard has been given an exclusive sneak peek at the new entertainment centre.
Located at the retail park on Old Seals Way, the new venue is set over two floors and boasts 28 bowling lanes, arcade games, pool tables, laser tag, karaoke rooms, table tennis, escape rooms and a bar on each floor.
The site is full to the brim with entertainment options - whether you’re heading out with at the weekend with friends or looking for the perfect setting for a kids’ birthday party.
The ground floor space is a gamer’s dream, with classic racing games like Mario Kart, modern shooters like The Walking Dead and claw machines, pool tables and air hockey stretching the width of the unit.
To the left is the ground floor bar, which offers a large range of food and drinks, including cocktails. Screens throughout the bar will also be able to show live sports.
To the back are 17 bowling lanes, each with their own booth which will display the all-important scoreboards. Players can also order from the bar straight to their lane.
Upstairs there is table tennis, another bar and a further 11 bowling lanes. Both sets of lanes are fully illuminated with neon displays and additional screens in each booth can also show live sport.
There is a karaoke room on both floors, with colourful displays of mascots 'Mole Gallagher' and 'Hen Stefani', whilst corridors lead off the main area to the laser tag arena and escape rooms ‘inspired by Houdini’.
Laura Barlow, Regional Manager at Tenpin, said: "Following the success of Tenpin’s refurbishment in Cheshire Oaks in 2019, we are over the moon to be bringing Tenpin’s wide range of competitive socialising activities to even more people in the local community with the launch of our brand-new venue in Chester on 29th March.
"The new entertainment hub is set to be the perfect destination for friends, families and colleagues alike to spend time together any day of the week. With bowling, karaoke, laser tag, escape rooms, arcades, American pool and table tennis on offer, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
"Our team has been working hard behind the scenes in preparation for Chester’s launch, and we can’t wait to officially open the doors on Friday and welcome customers, old and new, to experience everything Tenpin has to offer."
Tenpin Chester will open on Friday, March 29, from 10am.
