A POPULAR plant fair that has been running for more than a decade will be held next month.
THE Plant Hunters’ Fairs at Ness Botanic Gardens are a firm favourite with gardeners and will take place at Ness Gardens on Sunday, April 7.
Organiser Martin Blow, of Plant Hunters' Fairs, said: “Spring is upon us and now is the time to perk up your plots and beautify your borders.
"Fifteen specialist plant nurseries from near and far will be winging their way laden with flowering bulbs, perennials and shrubs to provide instant colour and lots of later flowering plants to get planted now for colour into the summer and beyond.
"Wildflowers, herbs and alpines, will also feature at the fair. Now’s the time to think ahead and plan that dream border for your garden.
"If you are new to gardening the stall holders are always happy to share their expertise to help you select the best plants for your own unique garden.
"The plant fair raises much needed funds for Ness Gardens, so why not pop in and pick up some wonderful traditionally grown plants from these family run nurseries."
