FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a morning incident in Chester.
One fire crew attended the scene in Mercury Court at about 8am yesterday (Monday, May 6).
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters in breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to put out a fire involving a van.
"They then dampened the vehicle down. The cause of the fire is believed to be due to mechanical failure."
