A MAIN road through Ellesmere Port was closed amid an emergency services incident.
Witnesses took to social media to state that the A41 in Little Sutton was closed on Tuesday morning, with multiple police cars and an ambulance in attendance.
There are reports that the incident involved car colliding with an elderly lady.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 10.22am on Tuesday (May 7) police were called to reports of a collision on the A41, Chester Road, in Little Sutton.
"Officers attended and found there had been a collision between a pedestrian and a white Vauxhall Viva.
"There are no reports of serious injuries, but the pedestrian was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure."
Police confirmed that the road has now reopened.
