A MAJOR dental care provider has relocated to a new building in a move that cost £1.5 million.
The new mydentist Chester practice, which is now located on Foregate Street, was officially launched by practice manager, Nichola Jones, and her team yesterday (Wednesday, May 8).
After a project lasting just over eight months, all the dentists and staff from the previous Chester site on 2-4 Upper Northgate Street have moved to the new site on Foregate Street, where patient appointments are now underway.
The move marks a substantial enhancement for the 30,000 patients of mydentist in the community of Chester, who will now benefit from a modern, state-of-the-art practice, a greater range of dental treatments and technology, as well as improved travel links and wheelchair and disabled access.
There are 9 surgeries available in total at the new city centre practice, with key services offered to its patients – including NHS dental care and private treatment options via the mydentist service.
Victoria Hampson, mydentist area development manager, said: “We’ve been working very hard to relocate to a more accessible site in Chester for the last eight months, so to see the new practice finally open is fantastic.
"Our aim was to meet the needs of our patients and our team here in Chester now and in the future, and feedback so far has been extremely positive.”
Victoria Hampson said: “We know that accessing dental care in this region is difficult which is why we’re pleased to be able to offer {my}options, an affordable way to access a dentist when you need one.”
