Cheshire's most booked spas have been revealed, with the list-topping option accounting for more than one in four bookings in the area.
Doubletree by Hilton Chester Hotel took top spot on the list compiled by Spabreaks.com.
Formed from the findings of the UK spa experience and booking agency and specialist wellness advisors, the top-choice spa accounted for 28.06 per cent of all bookings made in Cheshire last year.
Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel secured second place, with Macdonald Portal, Cottons Hotel and Spa, and Shrigley Hall Hotel Golf and Country Club taking third, fourth, and fifth places respectively.
Spabreaks.com founder Abi Selby said: "It’s always really insightful to look back across the past year and see where and how customers are using the spa.
"At Spabreaks.com we know that everyone uses the spa in different ways, whether it’s for a spa weekend break or just a quick visit of an evening.
"We make sure our offerings suit everyone, and that the spa is a place accessible to all."
Taking the top spot, Doubletree by Hilton Chester Hotel is set within 12 acres of landscaped grounds.
Providing ample space for larger groups, the spa boasts 14 treatment rooms, a fully-equipped pool, steam room, and rasul.
Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel, although quite close to Chester, is set in a woodland location.
Following a renovation, it now boasts state-of-the-art facilities and a thermal suite and, along with massages, offers more holistic therapies such as acupuncture and Chinese cupping.
Macdonald Portal, set in the countryside, combines golf and spa.
It has a swimming pool, aroma steam room and relaxation room and also offers massages or facials.
Cottons Hotel and Spa, positioned in the heart of Cheshire, presents a rustic getaway option with a brand new gym and a range of spa services.
It also has an al fresco terrace for warmer month and offers facials, massages and a selection of finishing touches including make-up, nails and lashes.
Shrigley Hall Hotel Golf and Country Club completes the top five with its spa breaks that combine treatments and relaxation.
Positioned amid the National Park, it features an 18-hole golf course, health club and spa offering a number of packages.
