The University of Chester has received its highest Complete University Guide (CUG) ranking since the commencement of the league in 2008.
It now ranks in 59th place, advancing two positions.
A significant part of its development can be accredited to its strong performance in the Graduate Prospects - On Track criteria. Further, the University earned a ranking among the top five universities in the North West of England.
In terms of specific areas, Food Science rose to the 12th position, up 10 positions, achieving a five-year peak. Similarly, Creative Writing improved by seven places to the 16th position.
Both French, Archaeology, Counselling, Psychotherapy and Occupational Therapy, Marketing, Geography and Environmental Science, Politics and Religious Studies were ranked in the top ten for Student Satisfaction.
Vice-chancellor of the University of Chester, Professor Eunice Simmons, said: "This is a really encouraging result and reflects the hard work and commitment of all our staff at the University to providing the best experience to all our students."
