BAILIFFS have been instructed to visit an unauthorised encampment in Ellesmere Port.
The camp, which includes two caravans, was set up by a Traveller group on Monday (May 27) at Coliseum Way.
Part of a large retail area, the camp is located on privately-owned land, meaning that the landowner is responsible for dealing with the issue, although the Cheshire and Warrington Traveller Team (CWTT) can provide support if approached.
Cheshire West and Chester Council have confirmed that bailiffs have been employed to move the group on.
The Council have also confirmed that a second encampment, located at the park and ride centre on Wrexham Road, Chester, has now been vacated.
The group, which had been travelling in seven caravans, first set up the camp on May 18.
