RACEGOERS flocked to Chester this weekend for two big events in the city’s racecourse’s calendar for 2024.
Friday (June 14) saw The Friday Social take place, which provided a more relaxed setting to socialise with friends, family and colleagues at the world's oldest racecourse.
This was followed by the Edinburgh Gin-sponsored Summer Saturday yesterday (June 15), marking a three-year partnership between the brand and Chester Racecourse.
The popular event involved four sponsored races, each named after one of Edinburgh Gin’s varied flavours.
Already lending its name to the Edinburgh Gin Garden at the racecourse, where guests could enjoy their drinks with prime views of the Paddock and Parade Ring, the brand also rolled out an Edinburgh Gin Trail Map for racegoers heading to and from the Roodee.
