A COURT order is to be issued to an unauthorised camp on the former Sealand Road Park and Ride site.
The encampment, which consisted of two caravans, was set up on June 20 and logged on the Cheshire and Warrington Traveller Team's portal.
Various checks are made including welfare, cleanliness, disruption to local businesses and obstruction of highways.
If an unauthorised encampment is on council land, the council may only evict them subject to complying with Human Rights legislation and other procedures.
In an update on Friday the council confirmed a section 77 notice under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 is to be served.
The notice will require the group to leave by an agreed date, failure to do so will likely result in a possession order (section 78).
