The Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre summer lineup has been announced by Storyhouse.
Situated in the beautiful scenery of Grosvenor Park, Chester, this year's programme promises to be an memorable season for visitors with a combination of thrilling theatre performances and a range of food and drink options for the entire family.
The schedule includes world premiere of The Gangs of New York, based on Herbert Asbury's iconic book, scripted by esteemed writer Kieran Lynn and directed by John Young.
The show can be enjoyed from July 19 until August 31.
In addition, Oscar Wilde's timeless masterpiece, The Importance of Being Earnest, will offer audiences wit and charm, under the direction of Natasha Rickman, from August 9 to September 1.
Storyhouse also presents walkabout theatre experience, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, directed by Alex McGonagall, between 27 July and 22 August.
The site will also host the popular Moonlight Flicks open-air cinema, previously held at Chester Cathedral and the Roman Garden.
Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre will feature fan-favourite films including Barbie, Anyone But You, Wonka, Dirty Dancing, and Pulp Fiction.
Other highlights include comedy and murder mystery nights, live music, arts and crafts and storytelling for young families.
Visitors can also enjoy refreshments ranging from drinks to BBQ fare.

Grosvenor Park's summer schedule has been made possible due to funding from financial services company MBNA.
