THOUSANDS of people put on their gladrags for the Soul Sunset Racing event at Chester Racecourse on Saturday (July 13).
The second day of Chester Racecourse’s music weekend was all about Soul and Funk music.
Live performers from across the spectrum of Funk and Soul were dotted across the racecourse.
They included Craig Charles - who played his incredible Funk & Soul DJ set. The host of the Funk and Soul Show, as well as Weekday Afternoons on BBC Radio 6 Music, got racegoers into the groove at Soul Sunset Racing.
A thrilling card of horse racing kicked off from 4.20pm - with six taking place in total, finishing with the Craig Charles DJ Set Handicap, which was won by outsider (14/1) King of Tonger.
