Police in Ellesmere Port are taking action following fires at a former hotel site.
The Station Hotel on Station Road which was built in the 1870s closed its doors for the final time back in 2017.
Although it is locally listed, the Station Hotel is not a designated Grade II-listed building and therefore has no statutory protection.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service has been called to put out fires at the disused building in recent days, including on Friday and Sunday, July 12 and 14.
As a result of the fires and associated anti-social behaviour, Ellesmere Port Police has initiated a Section 34 Dispersal Order around the area.
It gives police the power to order people suspected of causing anti-social behaviour to leave the area, or face being arrested.
The order is in place until 7am on Tuesday, July 16.
