WE can now reveal the winner of our Wellbeing Award for 2024.
Cheshire West’s education community came together on Friday, July 12, to celebrate as ITV’s Lucy Meacock hosted a special ceremony at the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel.
Our support workers ensure that every child is able to get the best out of their education, acting with care and dedication to aid those with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, mental health needs or complex health needs.
All of our finalists deserve immense credit for the effort they put in every day to make our schools welcoming and enjoyable places for those with additional needs.
Our finalists for the Wellbeing Award are:

Belgrave Primary School nurture the emotional health and wellbeing of both children and parents. Belgrave have a supportive and caring ethos and their approach is respectful and kind, and everyone is valued.
Lache Primary School are committed to supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of the pupils and staff. They take the view that positive mental health is everyone’s business and that we all have a role to play.
Cheshire College South & West, the health and wellbeing of students are always a top priority. The college provides numerous confidential avenues for students to share their thoughts or concerns, ensuring they receive the best possible support.
This award was sponsored by Nudge Education and was presented by Charlotte Noutch director of partnerships to the head teacher of the winner Belgrave Primary School.
