A MAIN road in Cheshire West is currently closed after an air ambulance was called out following a serious crash.
Two fire crews were also called out to the scene of the two vehicle collision at about 9.20am today (Thursday, July 18) on Runcorn Road in Northwich.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Emergency services are dealing with a two-vehicle road traffic collision.
"A full road closure is in place on Runcorn Road, please avoid the area.
"Police, North West Ambulance Service, and the air ambulance are also in attendance.
"Three casualties have been extricated from two vehicles and handed into the care of paramedics. Runcorn Road remains closed."
