Emergency crews were called out to tackle a house fire at a Chester village on Thursday, July 18.
The incident on Rode Street, Tarporley, was reported to Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service at 12.15pm.
Two fire engines from Crewe and Winsford were deployed to the scene.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "A fire that is believed to have started on an outdoor store, spread up the exterior of the property and into the home.
"Fire crews used hose reel jets to fight the fire from the outside. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property to check for any fire spread indoors.
"Crews ventilated the property and used a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.
"A seven-metre ladder was used for firefighters to check the extent of any fire spread and damage to the property's exterior."
