Police and police dogs were deployed to woodland in the Chester area amid concerns for the welfare of a man on Sunday night (July 21).
The Cheshire and North Wales Police dog unit reported that the male had left his car and headed into the woodland, saying he wanted to end his life.
Police dog Toro and his handler went into the woodland and searched for the man.
The team reported that, after a lengthy search, the man was found safe and well.
The police unit added the man was now getting the relevant support.
