A FEMALE biker was seriously injured after she collided with a car in Acton Bridge.
The crash happened on the A49, Warrington Road, near the Leigh Arms pub in Acton Bridge, shortly before 3pm on Sunday, July 21.
The motorbike rider, a 57-year-old woman, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Aintree Hospital in Liverpool, where she remains.
The car driver, a 39-year-old woman, was not injured.
Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following the crash.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “Officers attended the scene and found there had been a collision between a white Mini One and a multi-coloured BMW motorcycle near to the Leigh Arms public house.
“The rider of the bike, a 57-year-old woman, suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision. She was taken to Aintree Hospital, where she remains at this time.
“Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any video footage which may aid the investigation.”
