Free burgers will be on offer to new drivers for one day only on Wednesday (July 24) at drive-thru Burger King venues, including the fast food restaurant in Chester.
With July 24 being apparently crowned National Drive-Thru Day, Burger King is celebrating this established occasion with a special offer to those who still have their L Plates.
And the offer is valid at the Chester Retail Park, where Burger King opened its doors in March this year, after an absence from the city of more than four years.
To claim a free Whopper or Chicken Royale on the day, new drivers must mention 'BK Plate' and present a learner driver L Plate at the drive-thru window.
The offer comes as Burger King has teamed up with driving instructor and content creator DGN Driving to create a short film which advises how newly qualified drivers can safely navigate a drive-thru restaurant (without driving through the restaurant).
Tips include turning down music before entering the drive-thru, knowing the order in advance, being nice to drive-thru staff, stopping close to the pick-up window and placing the order safely in the car, while making sure the driver is safely parked somewhere before eating.
