AN AWARD-WINNING garden centre near Ellesmere Port celebrated a memorable evening at Thornton Manor Country Estate.
The first corporate event at Thornton Manor since its relaunch, the evening celebrated Gordale Garden Centre’s dedicated staff team, with an elegant evening of music and food.
Thornton Manor was restored to its former glory after it was devastated by fire in 2021. The grade II listed building, nestled amidst stunning grounds in Wirral, offers a picturesque backdrop for weddings, celebrations, and relaxation.
Gordale guests were treated to exquisite catering by Artezzan, renowned for their culinary mastery. A delicious menu featuring mediterranean-inspired food, expertly prepared to delight the senses.
The Northern String Quartet provided harmonious melodies to add to the joyous atmosphere.
The event was orchestrated by Head of Events, Ceri Stone, alongside Stephen Forgacs-Pritchard, People Manager at Gordale.
Gordale’s Company Director, Peter Nicholson, said: “Tonight’s celebration embodies the spirit of Gordale—bringing people together in a beautiful setting to appreciate the hard work and dedication our team provide.”
Gordale is one of Britain’s oldest garden centres, first established in 1948. It is set within 15 acres of grounds along Chester High Road, Neston, and offers an extensive range of products for the home and garden.
