FIREFIGHTERS were called to a children’s play area in Ellesmere Port yesterday (Saturday, July 27) after reports of a fire.
A fire crew arrived at the scene near Grange Road at 5.10pm.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A fire in a children's play area was dampened down by firefighters.
“The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.”
